I’m on a plane, we’re about to take off, and I’m worried. I know it’s unlikely, but what if the movie cuts out?

I don’t want to die; I still haven’t tried the meatball sub at Salumi.

Do I have e-coli?

Either I have e-coli, or my belt’s too tight.

Might I Recommend…”And Here’s The Kicker” by Mike Sachs

First of all, let me say that I am in no way connected with this book but if you are interested in comedy or if you are a comedy writer you should definitely pick this book up. Sachs does an amazing job of getting incredibly in depth and candid interviews with some of the best comedy writers around. Not only did it give me a new found respect for some people (i.e. Dick Cavett) but some of the candid stories blew my mind. Enjoy.

Summer is not a good time to be middle eastern.

When middle eastern people get hot, like all people, they look angry. But when middle eastern people look angry, unlike all people, they’re seen as a threat.

Person #1: Tom, TOM, look - that arabian guy looks pissed off. I think he’s about to bomb this bus.

Person #2: Are you sure? He’s holding a copy of The God Delusion.

Person #1: He just took a deep breath! Someone call the cops!!!!

That’s why, if this summer you’re in New York City, and you are Middle Eastern, be sure to stay in the shade. And if you go in the sun, wear a shirt that will breathe. I suggest one like this.
