[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

My roommate, playing this for the 10th time today. If I hear this song one more time, I’m jumping out the fucking window! Never live with a musician.

Here’s a video of The KR Virtuoso Experience performing “Tergiversation,” a song by Gene Perla.

The band features Mulgrew Miller on Keys, Warren Wolf on Vibes, Joe Saunders on Bass, and my dude Karriem Riggins on Drums.

UPDATE: Also, If you liked what you heard, follow this link to Karriem Riggins’ myspace page. He has some DOPE songs uploaded on his media player that are worth checking out.  I suggest “See,” which features the always good Madlib.

Skillet Burger.
From the Seattlemet.com:
It’s not big, it’s just uncommonly tasty. And as the cambozola melts and the brioche goes to butter—the whole burger becomes…I’m not kidding… creamy.

It’s time I let you know about the Yirim Seck album release show. For those who don’t know, Yirim Seck is a rapper based in Seattle, who has formally put out music with the group Pyrate Radio.
This Thursday, he’s planned to release his long awaited debut album Hear Me Out. The album features production by the virtuoso producer DJ Vitamin D (produced for such artists as Gift of Gab, Black Sheep and Young Buck) and, by some stroke of luck (or a bad call in judgement), yours truly - along with my friend Phil Baum.
If you’ve planned on seeing District 9 this Thursday, I highly recommend putting it off until the weekend and coming out to the show; the line up is nuts, it’s almost sold out, and unlike most Seattle hip hop shows, this one will be attended by girls.
I hope to see you there (in the club, not in the club bathroom).
Some songs off the album can be previewed here - (I did the beat for Rebirth and Phil did the beat for Three Emcee’s RIP and Love Like This).
